“Transitioning this historic farmhouse into an elegantly comfortable contemporary living space drew on nostalgic memories of my grandparents’ horse farm. While restoring the main building, we added the modern convenience of a great room and a loft master bedroom. To create a youthful appeal, we counter-balanced contemporary huge industrial windows with exposed natural woods and stone, bronze hardware and a genuine antique broad sink. “
Classic Townhouse
In the heart of a large North American city, this exciting project recreated a classic Old English Townhome updated with a fresh, sophisticated look. We incorporated traditional English dish dressers into the millwork to set off the original antique trestle table and little bench. Lamps, lighting and mirrors were crafted in an antique theme while fabrics were selected for a modern take on chintz, sisal carpeting and seagrass wallcoverings.

Black and white marble, panelling, archways and classic architectural details combine to create a sophisticated, classic interior. European mirror and lighting designs add further touches to this informally formal and comfortable living space.
